Telecom.paper: "Your One-Stop Source for Telecoms Information!": "The mobile market in West-Europe has increased with 1.54 million subscribers or 0.49% in August, according to figures from Mobile Communication magazine. Mobile subscribers reached 315.17 million as of 1 September 2003, compared to 313.63 million on 1 August 2003. The big five: Germany, Italy, UK, France, and Spain have 238.02 million subscribers compared with 236,85 in the month July. The big five count for 75.5% of the West European market. The other 20 countries have 77.15 million subscribers."
